Kevin Russo
M.A., BCBA, LABA, President



Kevin is owner and President of the Corporation. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Sports/Fitness Administration from UMASS Boston in 1988 and a Master's Degree in Critical and Creative Thinking from UMB in 1996. His Master's thesis (published and copyrights 1996) was on Applying Critical and Creative Thinking to Sports Psychology and Motivation. Kevin's relative coursework included: Advanced Cognitive Psychology, Multiple Perspectives in the Classroom, Education Curriculum and Design, Moral and Social Issues, Critical Thinking, Educational Intervention, and Issues in Educational Evaluation.

Sarah attended Bridgewater state University, where she majored in Education and Communication. Sarah joined the Arise Team in 2019. Sarah works as a paraprofessional at a Massachusetts public school in addition to her time at ARISE, and she has experience working with children with an array of skills. Sarah works collaboratively with families, proving ABA services across settings.

Michelle Heffron
B.A.



Michelle brings a wealth of experience working with children and adolescents across multiple
environments. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology from
Framingham State University. Michelle is employed as a full time Social Coach at a private therapeutic
day school, working under the supervision of a Speech and Language Pathologist. She previously held a role of Assistant Teacher with Middle and High school aged students at the same private school. She joined the A.R.I.S.E. team in March of 2017 and continues to work with students and families across several school districts.

Meghan Sutton
M.S., BCBA, LABA



Meghan has worked in several capacities and settings in the field of ABA, including Accept Collaborative, RCS in Natick, and Amego, Inc., where she helped support students both at school and at home. Meghan currently services as a clinician and supervisor at ARISE in many different cities and towns. Meghan holds a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons College. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA). She has been an asset to the ARISE team since she began in 2013.

Jacqueline Felteau
B.S., M.S., BCBA



Jackie brings an extensive background in ABA to the ARISE team. She obtained a Bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University and a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University. Jackie is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), which she received in 2020. Jackie is employed as a full time Behavior Specialist at Boston Public Schools, and was previously employed as a full time assistant teacher at a local private school in addition to working at ARISE. She also has experience as a co-teacher in the state of New Jersey. Jackie joined the ARISE team in August 2016.

Robin Morrow
M.Ed., BCBA, LABA



Robin brings a wealth of experience to the company. In addition to being a BCBA and having a Master's degree in Special Education, she has worked as a teacher in both public and private school settings. Robin has been at ARISE since 2014 and she has worked primarily with individuals on the development of functional living skills as well as IEP goals and objectives. Robin works collaboratively with school personnel and families and she continues to add valuable insight to the ARISE team.

Robert Randall
M.Ed.



Robert has been with ARISE since 2018. He has his undergraduate degree in History from McDaniel College and his Master's degree in Special Education from Cambridge College. He has worked as a teacher in public school settings since 2012. He currently works for a local Public High School as a teacher and Special Education liaison. Robert works collaboratively with families, proving ABA services across settings.

Katelynne Mackie
B.S.



Katelynne received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Mitchell College. She has been with ARISE since 2019 and prior to that, she worked in several capacities working with children. Aside from her work with ARISE, Katelynne is the Director of Family Support Services at The Charles River Center. She brings a wealth of enthusiasm to the team, as she provides services to Arise families. We are happy to welcome Katelynne to the ARISE team where she will apply her passion and teaching skills to her approach when providing ABA services.

Taylor Brown
B.S.



Taylor received her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Emmanuel College. She has returned to ARISE recently, having begun in 2015. She has worked in several capacities working with children. In addition to her work with ARISE, Taylor is a teaching assistant for the LABBB Collaborative. We are happy to have Taylor back with the ARISE team where she will apply her passion and teaching skills to her approach when providing ABA services.

Jennifer Monaghan
MEd, CAGS, BCBA, LABA



Jennifer Monaghan is an experienced certified adjustment counselor and special needs teacher. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology, Special Education and Elementary Education from Marist College. She attended UMass Boston, majoring in Mental Health Counseling, and received her Master's Degree in Education in 2002. Jennifer is also a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and licensed applied behavior analyst (LABA). Jennifer has worked as a mental health counselor at Help, Inc, and as a teacher at Westwood Lodge Hospital and the Lighthouse School. Jennifer worked at the READS Academy as a school adjustment counselor for several years before joining ARISE. Jennifer joined the ARISE staff in 2006 and continues to be invaluable to the corporation.

Michaela Dady
B.S. , M.Ed., BCBA



Michaela Dady comes to ARISE with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Mount Ida College, and a Master's Education from Arizona State University. Michaela is currently the substitute behavioral clinician for the Dover school district. Previously, Michaela was the behavioral clinician for a school during the school day. Michaela joined the ARISE team in 2017 and serves a variety of students and families. Since 2019, she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Michael Donovan
B.A.



Michael Donovan joined the ARISE team in 2018 as an ABA provider with a background in service and management. He received a BA from Occidental College in English Literature. Michael has been a coach/referee for Play, Leadership and Youth (PLAY), helping to support challenged youths through physical activities and sports. Michael’s background in the field of human services has been an asset to families and their children, as well as staff at ARISE.

Melissa Vigliotti
M.S., BCBA



Melissa Vigliotti joins ARISE with a background in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. She received a Bachelor's degree from Georgian Court University In New Jersey and her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons College. She worked in an Integrated Preschool and currently works for Newton Public Schools, in addition to working at ARISE. Melissa has worked with children in a variety of educational and programmatic settings, including Private School. Melissa's expertise in the field of ABA has been a asset to families and their children, as well as staff at ARISE. Melissa became a BCBA in 2019.

Adrienne Dunne
B.S., M.S. Business



Adrienne Dunne joined the ARISE team in 2018 as an Office Assistant and supports the team in a variety of capacities. She has worked in private sector corporations and both public and private schools in various roles. She has her B.A. from Bentley University, and M.S. in Business from Lesley University.

Nicole Harrison
M.S., BCBA



Nicole attended Roger Williams University, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has been with ARISE since 2014 and prior to that, she worked in several capacities working with children with developmental challenges. Nicole received her BCBA in 2018. Nicole has provided support for many families and children while working at ARISE and she applies her passion and teaching skills to her approach when providing ABA services.

Dr. Mariela Vargas
PsyD, BCBA-D, LABA



Dr. Vargas obtained her doctoral degree from Rutgers University, completed her internship at Boston Children’s Hospital, and pursued post-doctoral training at the Judge Baker Children’s Center. She has over thirty years of experience working with children with autism and other developmental disorders with behavioral challenges. Dr. Vargas has worked as a home-based behavioral therapist, overseen home-based programs, designed training protocols for ABA therapists and supervisors, and consulted with families and schools. Aa a licensed Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a licensed applied behavior analyst (LABA), she is the founder and executive director of Applied Behavioral Learning Services (ABLS). Her interests include inclusion, social skills, and executive behavior. Dr. Vargas serves as a consulting Psychologist and BCBA-D for ARISE on an as needed basis, and supervises students pursuing BCBA certification across both agencies. The ongoing collaboration between agencies has allowed for more support to families in need.

Emily Blake
M.Ed., BCBA, LABA



Emily attended Le Moyne College, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She also received her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Severe Special Education from Endicott College prior to becoming a BCBA. She has been with ARISE since 2018 and she also worked in Lexington Public Schools as a special education teacher. Emily provides support for many families and children at ARISE and she applies her passion and teaching skills to her approach when providing ABA services.

Kelsey Shaw
M. Ed., BCBA, LABA



Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, as well as a Master of Education degree in Special Needs and ABA from Endicott College. She is a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Massachusetts and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2018. She has worked with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities since 2010, and currently serves as Clinical Director at a nonprofit human service agency where she focuses primarily on developing functional living and verbal behavior programs. Kelsey has been with ARISE since 2016.

Jemel Brown
B.A.



Jemel graduated from Bridgewater State University where he majored in Social Work. He has worked as a residential program supervisor for over 5 years, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at Regis College. Jemel brings his ABA experience to ARISE as a direct service provider for several students and families.

Evan Greenwald
B.A.



Evan Greenwald brings a wealth of enthusiasm to the company. He joined the ARISE team in 2019 as an ABA provider. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University. Evan also works as a Paraprofessional for a public school system in the Boston area. Evan is committed to providing quality care to those whom he supports. Since joining the team, Evan has brought an uncanny ability to connect with his students.

Michelle Graham-Freeman
M.Ed., BCBA, LABA



Michelle received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Framingham State College and her Master's of Education from University of Massachusetts at Boston. She also earned a certificate in Non Profit Management from Laselle College. Michelle is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA). Michelle worked as a production foreman for Charles River ARC for 3 years. She then became the Assistant Director of Clinical Services for the May Institute for 1 year before being promoted to Director of Day Services. She has been in her current position since 2006. Michelle is also a PMT trainer (Psychological and Physical Management techniques) as well as a CPR/ First Aid Trainer for The May Institute. Michelle began working at ARISE in 2009.

Jenn Hegerich
M. Ed., BCBA, LABA



Jenn received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Gordon College and her Master's of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Western New England College. Jenn has worked as an educator and counselor in various school systems and hospital settings since 2005. She began working at ARISE in 2016.

Chiara Amendola
M. Ed., BCBA, LABA



Chiara Amendola, M.Ed., BCBA, LABA, received her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Maine in 2010 and her M.Ed. in Special Needs and Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College in 2013. She has more than nine years of ABA experience, including several years working at Amego, Inc. where she worked under several senior behavior analysts in the field. Chiara obtained her BCBA in 2014. Chiara also holds three teaching licenses in the state of Massachusetts: Elementary (Grades 1-6), Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8), and Severe Disabilities (All Levels).

Alison Malcolm
B.A.



Alison received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Florida International University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She received her Teaching Certificate from Framingham State University. Alison has worked in the public school system since 2012. She began working at ARISE in 2013. In addition to supporting ARISE families, Alison is a Special Education professional aide for Wellesley Public Schools.

Allyson Rennell
M.S., BCBA, LABA



Allyson is a board certified and licensed behavior analyst who joined the ARISE team in 2020. She has a background working with people who present an array of skills and levels of functioning. Allyson has worked in both the public and private school settings, as well as working as a home service provider. She has a background in helping people address their communication challenges, as she continues to keep her license as a speech therapist assistant current. Allyson obtained her Bachelor's degree in Communication and Science Disorders from Worcester State University and her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Simmons University. Allyson enjoys working with her students and families to support their mission of using ABA to replace challenging behavior with more desirable options.

Maria Bregianos
B.S. Psychology



Maria Bregianos received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hellenic College in 2016. She joined ARISE in December 2020. She currently works as an Assistant Teacher at the League School of Greater Boston. Maria has been in the field of Special Education since 2015. Being active in the Greek Community, Maria has taught Greek School and Greek Folk Dance for over 8 years.

Araxi Krafian
B.A., R.N.



Araxi Krafian received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Simmons College, graduating Cum Laude and as a member of the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology in 2016. She joined the ARISE team in 2018. In 2020 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Simmons. She currently works as a Registered Nurse at Franciscan Hospital for Children and Boston Children’s Hospital. Previously she has worked as a nursing assistant, mental health specialist, in-school professional aide, child care provider and summer camp counselor. She brings an arena of skills to the ARISE team.
